Very clean, great furniture/decorations. Loved the 2 full refrigerators. Great chargers. Ceiling fans excellent. Lights on steps a plus. Grill and kitchen great. Beds comfortable. We had 6 adults and there was a good amount of space. Too hot for downstairs space, but glad to have it. Porch is wonderful. A few things we wished we would have known: the road the house is on does not have direct beach access. You have to go to the nearby street. Not a huge deal, but I just thought we were closer. There is a summer camp across from the house. Very loud when campers come out to play (a few times a day) since it's directly across from the screen porch. Not sure how often camp is in session. The downstairs half bath and showers have no air conditioning (it was super hot all week) and are not connected to the downstairs bedroom, so no one wanted to use them except for rinsing off after the beach (which was fantastic to have). The listing has been changed since I booked to be clearer about the bathrooms, but I wanted 2 full baths for so many adults. Now it is listed as just 1 bath, so glad it is fixed. Overall, the positives of the house far outweigh the negatives and we would stay here again.

A wonderful week! The cleanest and best appointed cottage in all of our previous 9 stays(over 18 seasons) It was great for our family and would highly recommend it, especially for a first timer!

Awesome Tybee Cottage

Great time and clean home. Would recommend. We spent time at Spankus and hucapoos and the kids loved it. Check in was easy and we appreciate tje late check out. Hope to return to Tybee next year!

Hidden gem!

This awesome beach house is tucked away on a private drive, right in the heart of the island. We parked our cars and walked virtually everywhere - It was so easy getting to the beach, the market, restaurants, etc. The inside was set-up perfectly and had so much space for us ALL to gather together as a group; To say we were impressed would be an understatement!

A wonderful Tybee experience! The house was clean, spacious, and close enough to the beach to walk with the whole family! I have stayed at multiple places on Tybee before and this one takes the cake. Looking forward to next year's beach trip already.

A wonderful property located on Shirley Road. It is a quiet and private place to get away from the crowds to enjoy a nice breeze. There is a new white rock parking area in front of the house that keeps our shoes from getting muddy. The cottage is two houses in from the main road; the beach access is just around the corner on 10th Street, which is at most a 2-minute walk. We loved the large, bright rooms and the updated furnishings. This cottage was very, very clean, which is important in selecting places to stay. It had everything we needed and the location was convenient to the grocery store and to restaurants; we walked to both of them. We loved the layout of the house as our older children enjoyed the downstairs bedroom which offers privacy and comfort. That room has access to two enclosed showers and a half bath, both of which we enjoyed using. All needed amenities are available, including two picnic tables on the screened porch plus additional seating, a ping pong table, hammock and a large seating area underneath the house with lights and ceiling fans - there is usually a nice breeze. A BBQ grill is located off the back stairs from the kitchen making it convenient to access. The house is our new favorite we will definitely be back. Highly recommend Tybeeach Cottage.

We were very happy with our accommodation. The house was very cute and very clean. All amenities were present and in good condition. We have four children--aged 11-15...the lower patio with ping pong table, hammock and sitting area was great for our entire family. I would say that to use the lower patio bedroom, you will want teenagers or older. The house is a quick and easy walk to the beach, and has beach chairs and wagons ready to use.

We rented this beach house for a family reunion weekend and it was FANTASTIC! Accessible bedroom downstairs for the elders, ping pong and new BBQ for the younger generation. House was exceptionally clean and newly updated, cute layout, several shower options after a long day at the beach, and laundry on-site. Couldn't have asked for better people to work with, Kelly was AWESOME and her office was nearby whenever we needed anything. Thanks again for the great experience!

Modern Beach House with Old Tybee Feel

This house was awesome! We had 4 generations staying here (me and my husband, my 88 year old mother, my son and his wife, and my 2 granddaughters. The rooms were not only very comfortable and roomy, but were decorated so cute! The bunk bed room (where i and my granddaughters slept) was just so spacious and comfortable. The house overall had a beachy comfortable feeling but still all the modern amenities expected in a high end home. We enjoyed the large porch for eating our meals and just hanging out and relaxing.
We had a wonderful time and this house certainly contributed to that!
