Originally owned by Tybee Island's first schoolteacher and her children, this historic 1935 cottage has been lovingly renovated to accommodate your family and friends in style. Step inside to discover original refinished wood floors, bright white bead-board walls, high ceilings, and upgraded new bathrooms, all complemented by a retro kitchen featuring darling turquoise appliances and ample cocktail space.

Enter through the cozy screened porch, which offers a delightful private pool view. Passing through French doors, you'll find the main cottage's living/dining/kitchen area, featuring a large-screen TV, custom comfy furniture, and a round dining table with five chairs. The open kitchen with bar seating adds to the charm and convenience.

The main cottage boasts three bedrooms, each offering unique comforts. The primary bedroom delights with a king bed, a pool view, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. The two additional bedrooms feature king beds, and one of them includes adorable bunk beds with custom designer "privacy" curtains. A full-hall bathroom with a walk-in shower completes this delightful space.

Step outside to revel in the beauty of the private 12'x28' pool and new stand-alone hot tub, complete with grill, loungers, and dining space. The pool area also features a "Tybee standard" outdoor hot/cold shower, ensuring refreshing moments after a day at the beach. The convenience of a half bathroom and laundry facilities on the lower level adds to the allure.

The charming carriage house apartment has its private entrance, accessible via a small flight of stairs leading to the screened-in porch and front door. This unique space offers a 4th bedroom, an efficient kitchen, a TV, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, providing couples or families with young children a separate and cozy retreat from the main house.

The Pink Zebra is ideally located on a tranquil street, mid-beach, offering parking for up to 4 cars. Adorable beach cottage!

We had a great experience at the Pink Zebra Cottage! We had a group of 9 girls and there was plenty of room for group gatherings as well as comfortable accommodations for everyone. The beds were comfortable, space was clean, and the access to the beach was fantastic. Would definitely recommend for a group/girls trip!

Fantastic rental. Rented this house with four other ladies for a girls weekend. The location was fantastic, one block from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and 25 minute drive to downtown Savannah.
The house was adorable, clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great Family Vacation

We had a great trip to Tybee Island and loved staying at the Pink Zebra. The property was as advertised and in good condition. We would recommend this property to anyone. We enjoyed the Deck restaurant, especially their butter shrimp. We rented bikes and enjoyed biking around the island. The kids loved the pool and the beach was a short walk from the house. We also took a day trip to Savannah and loved learning about the history of the city.

Great Location

We had a group of 10 on our annual girls trip - the cottage with carriage house was perfect and plenty of space. Directions and instructions for finding the key were very clear. Owner and management company were very responsive to all questions; she called ahead of time to let us know the washer was broken and would not have parts in time to be fixed during our stay; they provided plenty of towels and washcloths for 10 people for 8 days! Property was very clean, inviting, cozy and conveniently located to the beach, which was only about a 3-5 minute walk. Private pool with fridge, bathroom and outdoor shower located on the same level was a plus! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Tybee Bachelorette Weekend

we went to tybee for a bachelorette weekend with 10 girls and this house was perfect!!!! the theme was so cute, everyone slept comfortably, the distance from the beach was perfect and we had like a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to any restaurant, bar, grocery store, coffee shop, etc. can not recommend enough!!!!

Our family loved this property! The main house accommodated 6 adults and 3 kids perfectly and the guest house was a dream for my 2 teenage daughters. The pool is awesome! The privacy is awesome and shade in the pool area helps keep the water temperature perfect! Not too warm like most summer pools in the area. The outdoor shower, bath room, and refrigerator is a great convenience while swimming. We spend most of our time at the pool and walked across the street to the beach almost every day as well, very close! Loved this place and will try to stay again!

Tybee and The Pink Zebra

The Pink Zebra was wonderful. We arrived it was very clean and an excellent location. Only a short walk to the outstanding Tybee beach. The beach was very wide and not crowded for July. The house is a historical wonder. Built in the 1930’s it still appears to have the original hardwood floors and bead-board walls and ceilings. Even though it is a historical house it has modern updated kitchen and bathrooms. We had 6 adults and 4 children and we were very comfortable. There are two separate buildings. The main house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a garage with an apartment upstairs. This arrangement worked very well for us. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. First trip to Tybee and we loved it. We had a great week there and would recommend the Pink Zebra to everyone.

Wonderful stay at the Pink Zebra

Our family of 10 had a great stay at the Pink Zebra cottage! The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. The bedrooms are roomy and the one with the bunk beds was ideal for our kids. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The carriage house was perfect for a family of 3 with a 1 year old. The pool was a huge hit for all of us (the pool man came 3 times to keep it clean for us.) The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and convenient to grocery store and restaurants. I would definitely recommend!

As always the house was lovely and the location good. especially liked being near the fire department. Made daily trips on foot to retrieve and return beach wheelchair so much easier. Jane Coslick homes are always a delight. We were surprised to find there were only showers and no bathtub. Since our daughter is physically handicapped, that posed a big challenge particularly since there were no hold bars or stool. Otherwise we had a great stay once again!

Labor Day Weekend

This property is perfect for a girls weekend! It sleeps 10 very easily and you still don’t feel cramped. It’s walking distance to the beach and has a pool in the back. The only comment I have is that you’ll definitely want to bring bug spray if you’re hanging by the pool.

Awesomely cute!

The location of this cottage was perfect! We could walk across the street to the quiet beach but we did not even need to leave the house because of the in ground pool. Every thing was comfortable and so cute. Three king size bedrooms accommodated all of our group. The furniture was comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in porch. The garage apartment was comfortable. The only drawback was the TV in the den area did not work because the cable box was defective and the replacement did not arrive before the end of our weekend. But I would definitely stay at this home again.

Continuing our family tradition!

There was plenty of room for me, my boys and 2 nieces, plus my BFF, her husband and son stayed in the mini apartment above the garage, which allowed them some nice private time. The pool was fab! My only complaint was that the amount of dish and drink ware, as well as cooking vessels, was a little slim for a place which is marketed suitable for 10-11 guests.
That aside, it was another fantastic Tybee memory!

Great vacation in a great house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Pink Zebra Cottage. The house has a nice old style beach house charm though it has been nicely updated. We were only 4 staying there so we had lots of room. The kitchen may be a bit small for larger crowds but served us well. We did have issues with the DirecTV reception and the WiFi was spotty at best, but we figured we were on vacation and could use some disconnecting for the week. Great location, super easy walk to the beach.

Wonderful cottage that was very clean, comfortable and cozy for 8 guests. The little cottage is very nice and perfect for a little secluded spot. Jim was extremely responsive and helpful. The house itself was wonderful and extremely comfortable. The beds, bathrooms and kitchen were perfect for our weekend. The location is great, it's walking distance to the beach across the street!

The details were fantastic—our only qualm was that we didn't have enough toilet paper and trash bags. Other than that this place was perfectly appointed for a weekend getaway.

One suggestion would be to add a handrail to make it easier for all ages to enjoy the pool easier... steps can be a little tricky.

Our Annual Tybee Family Vacation

I grew up on Tybee in my early childhood and then moved to Atlanta. I LOVE sharing "my beach" with my 4 kids every year I can. I always want everything to be perfect. Mo's was perfect. I love vintage and the house was adorable inside and out. We had plenty of space with the attached cottage,there was 7 of us. The location was excellent. I walked to the YMCA in 3 mins to workout and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach. To top it off, Jim was the best! He felt like family, so easy to work with! See ya next year Mo's!

Great House for your Beach Trip

Enjoyed a wonderful Girl's Trip at Mo's Pink Zebra. Convenient access to the beach. Small pool for when you don't feel like the beach but would be better if pool was accessible from porch. Bike path located on the street behind the house. Bring a can opener and wine key as those are not provided. 3 king beds make for plenty of sleeping area and rooms are spacious. The attached loft is awesome for those who need a space to themselves. Overall a great stay in a unique house!!

Didn't want to leave!

The Pink Zebra Cottage was perfect for our friend's bachelorette weekend. It was a close walk to the beach and a short car ride or island hopper ride to the restaurants and bars to the south part of the island. The house was spacious enough to sleep all 10 of us and just the right amount of sitting room. The decor and the updates to the house were done perfectly. Jim was very easy to communicate with and was gracious enough to let us check in a little early. We had only 2 complaints about the house. One being that we had to put a net to the pool to clean ourselves (I don't think it had been done before we got there) and we definitely made good use of the pool! The other complaint was that there was no mirror in the guesthouse at all which we thought was odd. But overall, we had a wonderful stay and did not want to leave the Zebra cottage! Thank you Jim!

A week in Pink Zebra

Tybee Perfection!

This cottage is so much fun! The location is perfect if you like to avoid the crowds and the noise at night on the south end of the island. There is a short walk to the beach, and a great playground is close by. There is a fabulous guest house that would be perfect for a babysitter. Everything about the Pink Zebra Cottage is very nice and totally adorable down to the turquoise appliances. Loved it!

Best House On Tybee!

I rented Pink Zebra for my mom for her birthday weekend, and what a great time we had! The location is perfect, is fact you can see the boardwalk to the beach from dinner table. The design of the house is spectacular and makes you feel relaxed and just so happy. My personal favorite was the guest house, it is right next to the pool and the cute little bedding area was perfect for reading on some of the rainy days we experienced. It was also very very clean, and felt like I was right at home. Jim of Tybed Cottages was also very helpful in helping us through the rental process. Perfect stay!
