Great house, very comfortable. Nicely stocked with everything you should need. Walk to beach is a bit far but views are beautiful and relaxing.

Great location. The house was very nice and plenty of room for all 11 of us. The boardwalk out back was a great walking trail, and the Turtle pond was great. Close location to North beach. We rented golfcarts so getting around the Island and parking was easy.
Loved our stay.

A Break Away from it All

The property was as advertised, and we had a good holiday weekend. The staff was easy to communicate and was responsive to issues that came up. The pool is MUCH smaller than it appears in the pictures, and the cushions for the 2nd floor porch were not out and we didn't find them in a closet until the last day. The boardwalk out to the beach needs to be updated. The home is located more at the mouth of the river than one the ocean.

Beach House on a beautiul slice of beach

Lovely home, beautiful view, great for groups or families. The pool pictured is not at the house, FYI. We went in January, and there was a snowstorm, crazy sustained winds and extreme cold, but we very much enjoyed our stay anyway. The island and the downtown area is older and run down in all other areas we saw, so don't expect much in the way of dining or shopping. It's more of a quiet beach getaway. Savannah is 1/2 hour ish away, lots of good restaurants and shopping etc there.

Great place to stay on Tybee away from the main beach

Nice quiet neighborhood, away from the main beach. This was perfect for our wedding party, near the venue. Not so good if you’re there to go to the beach and pick shells and play in the surf. Great view from the kitchen balcony and a great kitchen as well. All of the bedrooms were well done and very clean... These condos that are vertical are lots of stairs, especially with the kitchen in third floor but the elevator was worth it.

Great visit to Captain’s Cabana

Booking was easy. Management was responsive. House clean. Views from upper deck were outstanding. Enjoyed watching the variety of birds visiting the marsh everyday. Cargo ships were frequently viewed coming in and out of port. Sunsets from top deck were stunning. Walk to beach was a bit far from the house. We preferred the very short drive or walk to North beach for beach time. House very comfortable.

This house was in a beautiful quiet location away from constantly traffic. The best place to watch the sunset was off our back deck. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

Plenty of space!

We stayed here for spring break with 2 other families (kids ranging from 5-14) and it was fantastic! The house is beautiful and clean with so much space for everyone to relax and spread out. Captain’s Cabana has so many great amenities from the pool to the game room in the garage to the turtle pond in the backyard. The house is very clean and well maintained and the management team was friendly and responsive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and in the end, wished we had a few extra days. We will be back!
