A former historic Fort Screven home, this 1938 cottage is loaded with character and comfort. Vaulted ceilings, white shiplap beadboard, and original wood floors give this home a beachy, nautical look and feel. An open living/dining room floor plan in the front of the home provides ample space to unwind, with a well stocked kitchen nearby. The Little Pearl has two bedrooms, each with queen beds, and two large bathrooms, a bunk area, and a washer and dryer.

Occupying a double lot, the rear of the property sits directly on Second Avenue, Tybee's bike path, with plenty of extra parking for golf carts and bikes. The large pool area is surprisingly lush and private, with a mix of sun and shade all day. Relax in poolside chairs, eat at the picnic table, or just jump in.the 12X24 pool. Located on a quite stretch of Lovell Avenue just one block from Tybee's only grocery store, the home is just two blocks from the beach at the 11th Street beach entrance. The Little Pearl is the perfect getaway for couples or families seeking a classic Tybee Cottage experience that includes pool time and is within walking distance to the beach.

"This house was just perfect for our family vacation. It was close to the beach and local eateries, and has it's own pool. It was clean and had enough space for our family of three, but was still very cozy. The property manager checked in at the beginning of our stay to make sure we got settled in, which was really nice."

"We loved the Pearl she is sweet and had everything we needed. My 4 year old daughter loved having a pool available and a short walk to the beach. Quaint little town that has not been taken over by commercial companies so very relaxing. The rental company did a great job of getting us in and answering all our questions we would rent again!!!"

"This property is incredibly versatile, could accommodate a family, romantic getaway, or friends trip.
PRO's
-Great location: short walk to the beach, restaurants/ ice cream shop, and grocery store. (we didn't drive the entire week we stayed) BUT the house is tucked away from the main road, so you are secluded enough for quite and privacy.
-The house itself: Coastal luxury at its finest.. Interior Designers dream, plush towels, high thread count linens, amazingly comfortable beds, everything is even labeled (light switches, kitchen utensils, etc.)
The owners really put thought in what a renter might need (fully equipped kitchen, washer/dyer, entertainment options)
-Major PLUS: is the pool! Great size, gated for privacy, seating area, picnic table eating area, and gravity sun chairs for tanning. (I have a 7yr and 11yr old, this house had everything we needed and more)
-Management: I only interacted with Jim, but he was incredible!! I would highly recommend speaking with him, I can not sing his praises enough! Very professional, responds quickly, and makes you feel very welcome.
CONS
-The only con I could think of, is we couldn't stay longer! "

"The little pearl was the perfect place for a beach getaway. The house was bright and clean. The beds were comfortable with down pillows and white linens. The special touches like the color coordinated books, TVs in all rooms, and the nice selection of movies were fun. The private pool was the best! The area was so quiet and peaceful. It was easy to get to the beach and it was in walking distance to the local grocery store. We will be back. "
