"we love this cottage. we have stayed here for 14 yrs and our grandchildren love our stay here."

"The house was a wonderful mix of Tybee charm and modern conveniences. Jim was super easy to work with and very prompt in answering any questions. The porch was a piece of paradise for resting. We loved every minute of it!"

Kay L. from Greenwood, 07/22/2017

"House was exactly like it was described. Lots of room (there were a total of 6 of us). Loved the huge wrap around porch although the porch furniture was very old and none of the chairs were all that comfortable but there was plenty of furniture. Short walk to the beach and to the grocery store.
One thing I wish was there was some outdoor lawn chairs. Did a fair amount of grilling and no place to sit while grilling
Would come here again"

"We've stayed in this cottage for many years and we always love it."

"We have stayed at this cottage for 10 years. Our grandchildren love this old house. I especially enjoy the screened porch."

Patty F. from , 07/10/2015

"The home was perfect for our short beach vacation. It was well decorated on the interior and had a huge wrap around porch for lounging outside. The home is on Butler Avenue, so you do have some traffic noise during the day, but it didn't bother our family at all. The kitchen is small, but extremely well appointed. The gas Viking range and Weber grill supplied plenty of food for having some friends and family over for a dinner night on the porch. There is no dishwasher, but a couple people can easily clean and dry dishes after meals. Beach access is a few short minutes away on 8th or 9th street. We'll definitely keep this house in mind when we come back to Tybee. "

"We have stayed at this house for the last seven years and our grandchildren love it. They think it belongs to them. Absolutely love the porch. "

"Wonderful historic Tybee cottage furnished in the quirky island style of pieces collected over many years. Cottage was spotlessly clean upon arrival, linens and towels provided, well furnished for cooking in a small kitchen. There is no dishwasher and we did not find this to be a problem. Wonderful wrap around screened porch with multiple ceiling fans is where we spent most evenings and nights. Is on main avenue for the island, Butler Ave, but we found the noise did not bother us at all. Great shower downstairs for after beach showers . Easy walk to beach, restaurants and local small grocery. Loved the house and our stay particularly because we like the old Tybee flavor and charm. This was our first trip to Tybee and we would definitely return. Recommend The Sundae Cafe for lunch or dinner. Jim, the property manager, made our reservation process and our arrival easy and efficient. His kind southern demeanor was much appreciated and we found his suggestions for dining to be perfect and spot on. Tybee Cottages were also quickly responsive when we had a small issue with tv and WiFi. Stay at the Mulherin Cottage for a sweet taste of Tybee history."

Katrinia Y. from Belmont, 06/28/2014

"The house and location were incredible. Butler has gotten so noisy that the road noise was pretty fierce. We slept with ear plugs and could only enjoy the beautiful porch early in the mornings because of the traffic noise. Nothing anyone can do about that, but it was the only constructive criticism of the experience. Everything else was completely perfect."

Ellen F. from , 07/24/2012

"Just a short walk to the beach this house is perfect for the family that wants fun in the sun, but does not plan to cook much. "

from Cartersville, 07/16/2012

"The cottage was so charming and well equipped. Love the antiques and art work! The property managers are the best. The location is very noisy with traffic but convenient to the beach. The beds are very comfortable, but the living room furniture is not cozy. Great week overall!"

Sally W. from , 07/09/2012

"We were moved to 3 Driftwood Ct due to construction issues at the other property. Beautiful home and location! Thanks for moving us! "

Janet M. from St Simons Island, 11/08/2011

"We enjoyed our stay with our 4 grandchildren. The house had beautiful antiques and the front porch was wonderful!"

from Danville, 08/14/2011

"this is the third time we've stayed in this unit. Loved the screened porch. Excellent for a family. "

Patty F. from , 07/25/2011

"Property was in good shape with nice furniture and a well appointed kitchen. Improvements can be made in cleanliness. The furniture was dusty and the shower curtains were mildewed. It was nice to be on the beach side of Butler. However, being right on Butler, it was noisy on the weekends. Jim was very helpful. "
